It is with pleasure we invite you and your guests to our first networking dinner meeting of the year, on Thursday 20th February 2025, at Clarence Town Bowling Club, 6.30pm for 7pm. Great opportunity to catch up with fellow business owners and we are delighted to have three speakers conveying some very interesting information.
You will be served with a two course dinner, main and dessert catered by Maria’s Kitchen. Bar will be open to purchase drinks.
Coming up for exhibition by Dungog Shire Council is the draft plan for Clarence Town area, and Trevor Ryan, head of DSC Planning has kindly agreed to present on this topic. We are sure Clarence Town business owners and residents would like this opportunity to listen and ask question.
Our second speaker is president of Gloucester Chamber of Commerce Matt Clinch. Matt will be presenting Spend Map, a very exciting program/tool which collects data from spending in region. This helps breaks down where the spend in a region is coming from, eg locals, visitors, and from which areas. Also tracks leakage of dollars out of region. We are very grateful Matt is coming along to educate us about this important possibility.
Thirdly we have Bruce Williams manager of DSC Economic Development who has kindly agreed present DATA ID. This is a tool purchased by Council and available for use by residents, businesses etc. DATA ID is another powerful tool which identifies may aspects of what is occurring in Shire eg. population trends, demographics, income levels, important data which may be required for planning a new business or expansion.
