COMMUNITY BUILDERS WORKSHOPS - ONGOING EVENTS
The Community Builders program which has been running in Dungog Shire and Stroud for the past 12 months is now entering the next stage.
Dungog township and surrounds, as well as each of the villages and localities around Dungog Shire (plus Stroud area), have been involved in this program, facilitated by the amazing Peter Kenyon of Bank of IDEAS and generously sponsored and aided by Rural Aid.
The series of workshops and events held last year was to teach and foster a community building spirit, a ‘can do’ attitude. Dungog, Stroud, Clarence Town, Paterson and , Vacy , are now being asked to come together in their clusters for their Community Opportunity Workshop.
These Community Opportunities Workshops (COW) are an opportunity for the people of these locality to get together and think about their current direction as a town/village and discuss where they like to go in the future. These workshops will be facilitated by Peter Kenyon with the assistance of Steph Walsh from Rural Aid.
Information flowing from these COW workshops with be collated by Peter and Steph and booklet form plan will be produced for each of the towns and villages.

COMMUNITY BUILDERS SESSIONS - CLARENCE TOWN
The Clarence Town Community Opportunity Workshop is on Thursday, 27th March 2025, from 5:30PM - 9:00PM at the Clarence Town Bowling Sport & Recreation Club.
The workshop will be a place to share your vision, ideas, and aspirations for Clarence Town's future and help shape the direction of our town. Everyone is welcome to this roundtable discussion, which will cover topics such as economic development, arts and cultural growth, environmental initiatives, YOUR ideas and what you are passionate about. A light dinner and refreshments will be provided.
