Network Dinners
Our monthly networking evenings and social events offer an ideal platform for meeting, discussing and promoting business services and products. Members and guests are welcome.
Bookings are essential and payment prior to the night via direct deposit would be greatly appreciated.
Business Awards
The awards help to raise awareness of the contribution local businesses bring to our community and reward those who have provided you with great service throughout the year. These awards also offer for the opportunity for selected category winners to automatically progress to the Hunter Business Chamber awards and should they win, they will have the opportunity to go onto represent the Region at the NSW Business Chamber Awards.
Buy Local Campaigns
Local businesses are owned by people who live in this community and are more invested in the community’s future. It’s not just putting money in to a business owner’s pocket you are actually supporting and improving our local economy. Remember it’s our local business that supports our local charities, sporting groups and more with donations on a very regular basis. Local businesses gives a community its character.
By supporting local you ensure that uniqueness is preserved as a part of your community. Having the owner nearby also means that owner personally knows his customers. He knows the products you buy or the services you request on a regular basis and can tailor services to make your experience even better. Buying local has benefits beyond mere convenience. When you support local business owners, you get a better level of service, as well as helping make your community a better place to live.
Our buy local campaigns have included:
A 2013 buy local Campaign with over 20,000.00 entries offering the chance
to win $4,000 Dungog Dollars to be spent in participating businesses.
