Paterson Tavern

Hotel and Bistro

 Paterson Tavern

Yabbies Bistro, built in the late 19th century, is located in Paterson Tavern which was first known as the Commercial Hotel. The entire bar was originally situated within what is now Yabbies Bistro, but within a few short years the roaring local trade saw premises expand to include what is now the bar and gaming area. Providing food and drink to locals, Paterson Tavern quickly became the coach depot and a popular stop for weary travellers.

Today, over a century later, locals and travellers are still drawn to Yabbies Bistro for a drink and a fine meal.
