Midac Technologies (Australia) Pty Limited is a research and development company with a twenty one year reputation for developing leading technology solutions. Formerly the company developed direct digital controls technology in Sydney, but is now regionally located in the town of Dungog within the Hunter Region, and specialises in eCommerce gateway technologies using the name XtremeBusiness.
MIDAC stood for Microprocessor Intelligent Data Acquisition & Control. Midac Systems Pty. Limited was originally based in Sydney and developed world leading Direct Digital Control technologies and products. DDC systems act as the brain and nervous system of “Intelligent Buildings”.
When the Midac Technologies company was established in the early nineties it was the first Australian company to focus on Home Automation. Midac designed a power line carrier control system suitable for Australia and released a range of X-10 Home Control products.
