Professional experience
Ivan has extensive business, research and consultation experience in both the private and public sectors.
Over the past twelve years Ivan has held senior roles in the areas of corporate and business planning, performance measurement, quality assurance and business improvement at the Universities of Western Sydney and Newcastle, NSW Environment Protection Authority and Hunter Institute of TAFE. He has facilitated organisational development and improvement processes for each of these organisations.
Ivan has managed market and social research projects for all levels of government, and also non-government clients, including community surveys, workshops and focus groups. Over the past 12 months he has managed a Dungog Shire youth needs analysis for the Dungog Shire Community Centre and he has also prepared a feasibility study for the Dungog and District Chamber of Commerce on adult and further education in Dungog Shire.
Ivan has also served a term as President of the Australasian Association for Institutional Research, whose main aim is to raise the level of professional competence in analysis within the fields of tertiary education.
